SpaceX SuperDraco Engine First Test Firing

This video shows SpaceX successful first test firing of their new SuperDraco engine. This is a powerful new engine that that is a critical part of their new launch escape system for manned spaceflight. They will power a launch escape system that will make Dragon the safest spacecraft in history while allowing it to land on land with a propulsive landing. In is the first in series of the SuperDraco it was a full duration, full thrust firing that included throttling demonstrations.
